The 2010
census data are available now. At the Virginia state legislative services page, the data are broken down by city and county, Congressional Districts, Senate Districts, and House Districts. Obviously, these numbers will affect redistricting, so I'll have more to say about that later, but for now, check out the Virginia Public Access Project 2011
redistricting maps to get a really good visual of what the state's population growth looks like. There is a wealth of information on these pages, so go take a look.
