Great opinion piece in
Washington Post by Bob Brink, the Democratic Representative from Virginia's 48th District. He has good questions about the privatization of ABC stores that all should consider before getting behind the supposed windfall for the state: whether it will kill the cash cow that the ABC stores now are for Virginia, what it will do to neighborhoods, how much profit the state really will make when selling off the stores, and how much it will cost Virginia for state workers put out of work.
Let's hope cooler heads prevail.
