I happened to catch
an interview by Chris Matthews on Hardball this afternoon in which I thought he was going to lose it over Michele Bachmann's contention that the founding fathers worked to end slavery. He called her a 'balloon head' in reference to her lack of knowledge of American History and yelled at the hapless Tea Party representative, Sal Russo, who tried to defend her. Bet Sal won't be returning to the program anytime soon. Although I don't usually approve of the way Matthews conducts interviews (because he talks most of the time and gets overheated easily), this was pretty funny today because Matthews could barely contain himself over her comments. Evidently, The Huffington Post thought it was blog worthy, too, because they posted a short
article and the video. I must say I watched with an incredulous, jaw-dropping stare at 'balloon head' Bachmann as Matthews calls her, which you can view, too, by going to the link above.
